Executive Team

Steve Henderson, President & Owner

As one of the co-founders of Sunridge Farms, now Coastline, and a loyal employee for almost twenty years, it’s safe to say that Steve Henderson is passionate about produce. He began exploring his interest in agriculture throughout high school and college graduation, where he spent his summers working on ranches and at various produce companies.

At Coastline, Steve helps guide our vision in order to better meet the needs of our growers, customers and employees. He loves that each workday brings new challenges, and he enjoys being part of a company that provides healthy, safe food to retail and food-service communities. In addition to working alongside his team members at Coastline, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife of forty years, his two daughters and three grandchildren.

Phil Adrian, Vice President & Owner

With a long line of farming in his family, it makes perfect sense that Phil Adrian is where he is today. At seventeen years old, he got his first agriculture-related job loading produce into trucks, and after receiving a Masters in Business Administration at UC Berkeley, he began his career in the Salinas Valley, where he’s made an impact at various agricultural companies.

In 2001 Phil started at Sunridge Farms, now known as Coastline, where he is Vice President and Secretary. His areas of expertise include sales and marketing, food safety, packaging design and development, information technology and finance. He loves working for a company that feeds the world naturally with wholesome, nutritious products, and he believes in honest communication among staff and customers in order to promote high quality products, 365 days a year.

Phil’s desire for setting and achieving goals translates over into his outside hobbies as well. In addition to his busy work schedule, Phil still finds time to participate in various associations in Salinas and supports the community as a football coach.
